We were fortunate to be given the family property near Feversham...it is a Victorian farm house (circa 1890), that has been in the family for over 45 years. It was time that we started to make it our own. We decided to start in the master bedroom and bathroom. When I first went to Georgian Design I was a bit nervous as I felt it was a bit daunting to start from scratch. I met Joel the first day and have been working with him ever since. He is very knowledgeable, patient and honest. He is not afraid to steer you in a direction that you didn’t think you wanted to go, but that new direction turns out to be the right one!!Georgian has everything you need for your renovations...from carpets, flooring, lighting, vanities, toilets, mirrors. The great thing is that if they do not have what you need in the store they give you contacts that give you the flexibility to find just the right thing. They also are happy to support other local businesses and contractors which I appreciate. It turned out that our amazing contractor (Iain Meadows...Made to Measure) also has a close relationship with Georgian.

We recently had a new home built and worked with Kristine Chalmers at Georgian Design Centre to assist us in making a wide array of design decisions. It all felt like a very daunting task at the outset. Kristine systematically helped us make design decisions from interior and exterior lighting to plumbing fixtures, counter tops, mirrors and tiles for kitchen and bathroom backsplashes while ensuring that all choices worked together to create a consistent design aesthetic for our home. The support, ideas and advice we received were top notch. Kristine gave us great design options and pushed us to consider innovative ideas we hadn’t even thought of. In the end it all turned out amazing and Kristine and the staff at Georgian Design Centre deserve a lot of credit. We really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend them to anyone else facing their own design challenge.
As a designer I look forward to going into Georgian Design Centre (GDC). The minute I walk in I am inspired by all the beautiful tiles, plumbing, and lighting fixtures. GDC showroom makes it very easy to go in and make selections for my clients as everything is displayed so you can see and feel the actual product. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the suppliers they carry and go above and beyond to answer any questions I might have. I have worked with GDC on many projects and I look forward to working with them on many more. Also, did I mention you get greeted by adorable dogs, such a perk.
After building now two homes with the help of the Georgian Design Centre, I can emphatically say their knowledge, experience and unwavering commitment to their customers is beyond exceptional. They are a family run business, that treats everyone that enters their showroom doors, like family. Regardless of the project I presented them with, they were always respectful of my budget and at times would spend hours helping me find the perfect design elements. I always looked forward to spending time in their warm and welcoming environment, bringing my visions to life. It is always a phenomenal experience for me, when working with the Georgian Design Centre.
These bathroom renos were so easy! From the start with design ideas to the last finishing details, everyone at Georgian Design Centre was extremely helpful, easy to work with and very professional. I had a very pleasant experience dealing with David Labelle at Georgian Design. David assisted me in selecting a beautiful mirror, a mirrored medicine cabinet and spectacular light fixtures for our new home in the Shipyards. My purchases arrived at Georgian just as the Covid-19 shutdown happened which was very disappointing. I was pleasantly surprised when David offered to personally deliver everything to our garage. I was finally able to get everything installed and am thrilled with the result. Thank you David.

The service is first class pre sales and after sales, no purchase is too big or too small, very helpful in choosing the right materials/products to fit the budget. During our recent bathroom reno, I found Georgian Design Centre to be an excellent resource. They have the best selection of bathroom hardware, lighting and tiles in the area, in my opinion. Kristine Chalmers, design consultant, was extremely helpful in the design and choice of materials. Even though we had chosen another contractor, she offered her ideas and experience freely and unconditionally and showed a genuine interest in our project. Materials which were ordered through GDC arrived as promised. I would definitely recommend Georgian Design Centre.
My husband is a custom home builder in Collingwood and we were looking for a local store to purchase lights and flooring so we decided to go to Georgian Design Centre. I would recommend them to anyone. The options are endless and the customer service could not be better. From the moment you walk into the store you are greeted with a smile and there is always someone who is more then happy to answer any questions you may have. We will continue to shop at Georgian Design Centre as our experience is always a great one.

We have been using Georgian Design Centre for our various renovation ideas/supplies for over 20 years. Our latest project was a complete remodel (down to the studs) for our master bath. Georgian Design was the source for all of our design materials – from gorgeous large-format Dekton wall cladding and vanity countertops; their huge selection of vessel sinks, faucets, shower systems, lighted mirrors, pendant lighting, floor tiles, etc. The staff is always ready to help with questions, suggestions, providing samples, scheduling, deliveries, and great advice. They are also on your side if there is a problem. We did have a minor one – solved with the help of Georgian Design Staff. We would highly recommend them to anyone for any project – large or small.
